Grammar in Their Hands
Literally!
What if your students could hold grammar in their hands so they can carry it with them and have it at their disposal whenever they need it – especially during tests when they most need it? In this practical online workshop, I’ll show you how I use simple hand and fist gestures to make grammar visible, memorable, and always available to learners.
No props. No extra materials. Just hands, movement, and understanding.
Participants will explore how key grammar elements—such as rules, endings, auxiliary verbs, and time reference—can be consistently linked to specific hand shapes and movements. These physical cues help learners recall not only how a structure is formed, but also when it is used.
By connecting form and meaning through gesture, students develop a clear internal “map” of grammar that supports confident use, quick recall, and greater independence—both in everyday classroom work and in assessment situations.
